Tenugui – Goldfish
CHF 16.00

A cloth with a thousand talents:
Tenugui are traditional Japanese cotton cloths that are much more than just simple towels. Whether as a dishcloth, hand towel, head covering, gift wrapping, wall decoration or table runner – tenugui can be used in many different ways in everyday life and are valued in Japan as all-rounders.

Thanks to their fine mesh and smooth texture, these Japanese cotton towels are very durable and absorbent. The production of tenugui is a craft with a long tradition. The patterns are printed onto the fabric by hand in a complex process.

Care instructions:
Please wash separately by hand. Due to the hand-dyeing process, slight colour loss may occur initially. Allow the towel to air dry after washing. Tenugui towels are unhemmed at both ends, which is why they may fray slightly at first. Excess threads can be carefully trimmed with scissors.

DID YOU KNOW? ...
This cloth features bright goldfish (金魚) swimming among water plants and waves in a river (せせらぎ).
