The Sasawashi personal care towel is made from a blend of washi paper and fibers from the Kumazasa plant, and is especially absorbent and durable. The Kumazasa plant, which grows in the Japanese highlands, is known for its strong antibacterial properties. Since Washi can absorb both oil and water, it is the ideal base for skin cleansing as it removes excess oil. It can be used with or without soap to gently exfoliate the skin.
Care instructions: wash the cloth in a net with similar colors in the washing machine or by hand. Remove soap residue when hand washing. Hang it in a well-ventilated place.
