It comes, you guessed it, from Japan, where it has long been used in cooking and seasoning. And because learning from Japan means learning to enjoy, it has been growing in popularity in Europe for some time now. The yuzu inhabits its own epicurean world somewhere where tangerine and lime have reached their taste limits.
