With a diameter of 30cm, this Japanese cast iron pot is suitable for 4 people. Used for stews (nabemono), it is particularly advantageous for prolonged cooking, as little energy is needed to maintain the temperature. In Japan, by the way, such dishes are often cooked at the table with a table stove. A nice, communal event that can provide high enjoyment and lots of fun.

Made by NANBU IKENAGA through the Nambu Tekki process, it is made of pure controlled iron sand and has a fine surface.

Nambu Tekki is a traditional craft that requires a complex and intricate production process and is made by skilled craftsmen with at least 15 years of training.

The lid is made of natural wood and can therefore vary in grain and color. For cleaning, you should use a tawashi brush. It is important to dry the hub well after washing to avoid rusting.
