Brewery Hatsumago:
Hatsumago was named "Brewery of the Year 2018" by the International Wine Challenge. Winning gold medals in 7 categories is a great success for the sake brewed using the traditional Kimoto method. The quality is reflected in the fine umami taste and the typical creamy, dry finish. The brewery was founded in Sakata in 1893 by the Sato family. "Hatsumago" means the first-born grandchild.
