Hatsumago
Hatsumago was honoured as "Brewery of the Year 2018" by the International Wine Challenge. Winning gold medals in seven categories is a great success for sake brewed using the traditional Kimoto method.
The brewery was founded in Sakata in 1893 by the Sato family. "Hatsumago" means "first-born grandchild".
