Tenugui are traditional Japanese towels made from thin cotton fabric. They have a rectangular shape (approx. 35 x 90 cm) and are often decorated with intricate patterns, seasonal motifs or cultural symbols.
In the workshop with Roots + Wings Creative Studio, you can design your own customised tenugui with your own vegetable stamps. A relaxing activity to give thanks to nature again.

The workshop is aimed at adults and children aged 4 and over.


IMPORTANT: As you will be painting with acrylic paint, we recommend that you do not wear your favourite clothes.


Language: English (German support is available on site)

Product Specifications
When you purchase a ticket, we automatically store your details with us, so you do not need to bring a physical ticket with you on the day of the event. However, if you would like one (for a gift, for example), you are welcome to let us know by sending an e-mail to welcome@homu.ch.

In the event of an unexpected cancellation, we ask you to give the ticket to another person whenever possible. We are generally unable to offer refunds.

The cultural events take place on the first floor of Gerbergässlein 10 in Basel.
