Hashioki – Garlic
CHF 7.50

A chopstick holder (Hashioki) in the shape of a garlic? Why not!

Garlic ("ninniku"; にんにく) is mainly used in Japanese cuisine to flavour dishes or as a pickle. When frying it, care is taken to ensure that it does not turn brown, otherwise it becomes bitter for many Japanese people.

DID YOU KNOW? ...
Hashioki (箸置き) are used to place chopsticks on. This prevents the table or its surface from getting dirty. It also prevents the chopsticks from rolling off the table.

箸 = Hashi = chopsticks
置き = oki = to put down
