Soji Hako `All Lacquer Edition`
CHF 65.00

Wood turning is one of the traditional craft techniques of Yamanaka Shikki (lacquerware from Kanazawa Prefecture), which creates shapes from solid pieces of wood. "Soji" means "the plain wood" before the lacquer is applied. This series shows the beautiful character of natural wood. "Hako" means "the little box", which can be used in a variety of ways; for example, to store small items such as sewing kit or accessories. Or as a lunch box (suitable for food). The lid and container have a red-brown lacquer coating.
Presented here is the "All Lacquer Edition" from the famous col. Soji Hako series.
