Yamagiri Sencha - Ichibancha (100g)
CHF 22.00

For this Yamagiri Sencha, only leaves from the first harvest in spring are used, hence the name Ichibancha. The name Yamagiri is derived from Yama (mountain) and Kiri (fog), referring to the geographical and climatic conditions in the growing area.

Chiyonoen`s Yamagiri Sencha is mild in taste, has a herbal note and a slight sweetness. The valuable ingredients in the tea have an invigorating and stimulating effect. The geographical and climatic conditions in the growing area make the plants grow more slowly, resulting in more intense and rich flavors.

This tea is produced on a small tea farm run by husband and wife team Masashi and Eri Harashima. The tea consists mainly of tea leaves of the variety Yabukita, which are mixed with other green tea leaves from their own cultivation.
