Nodoka – Premium Matcha (30 g)
CHF 29.00

Matcha is one of the most powerful natural sources of energy and well-being. Unlike regular green tea, matcha plants are grown in the shade to give them a higher nutrient content and promote their growth in limited sunlight. As matcha powder is made from the whole tea leaf, it contains all the antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and fibre.

To produce Nodoka Matcha, Nodoka works with a partner company that has over 30 years of experience in organic tea cultivation. In contrast to conventional processing, the dried tea leaves are not ground between stones, but using a new process that utilises compressed air. This process produces a much finer, silky powder of high intensity.

What does Nodoka Premium Matcha taste like?
This premium matcha is characterised by a wonderful, rich aroma, is invigorating and has a lovely sweet bouquet. Traditional preparation is recommended for a long-lasting tea experience. However, as the powder is surprisingly finely ground, it can also be used to mix refreshing summer drinks.

DID YOU KNOW? ...
Matcha ( 抹茶) is the name given to Japanese green teas whose tea leaves are ground into a fine powder. The tea bushes are grown in the shade to protect them from too much sunlight. This method of cultivation results in a rich green colour and a higher amino acid and chlorophyll content in the plants. The first, freshest leaves are picked by hand and quickly steamed to stop fermentation. They are then dried and ground very finely.
