Tea as a museum

Saturday, 23 August 2025 I 13.00 - 14.00 or 15.00 - 16.00

In the Japanese tea ceremony, the host tries to serve the best possible bowl of tea. But what is the best possible? Opinions can differ widely here.

The demonstration on 23 August examines what makes a good tea bowl. And to what extent it is decided which utensils form a harmonious overall work of art. The tea room becomes a kind of museum. A museum where you can touch and use everything!

The trained tea lover Nico Čolić presents, in a partly meditative way, what Japanese hospitality is all about and offers you an insight into a wonderful Japanese tradition.
