Edonishiki – Tsuya
CHF 29.50

A beguiling fragrance: “Edo Nishiki Tsuya” combines sweet-silky with rich and intensely powdery aromas and also captivates with a lot of body and a bittersweet note. The fragrance was inspired by “Bintsuke abura”, the vanilla and clove-scented hair wax of the sumo wrestlers.

The design of the box is inspired by Edo prints. The asanoha leaf pattern is associated with the idea of children`s health and growth, because leaves of the hemp plant grow strong and fast. People use it in the hope that it will bring them good luck.

DID YOU KNOW? ...
The end of the Edo period was a time of prosperity. One of the expressions of this era were the fabric prints, "Edo Komon". Clothing in samurai society was basically very simple. However, as people wanted to look unique and different, they tried to express themselves through prints, colours and drawings on their fabrics. The often timeless design is still highly valued today.
