Hashioki - CLASEEK cat

A practical and decorative object on which to place chopsticks, as well as Western cutlery.

Hashioki is a traditional part of Japanese tableware. This prevents the table from getting dirty or the chopsticks from rolling off the table.

Today, Hashioki are also used in Japan mostly for formal occasions. The Hashioki is placed on the front left side of the place setting and the chopsticks are placed on it with the tips to the left, parallel to the edge of the table.
