MOBJE is the fusion of ancestral know-how and decorative art. MOBJE was founded in 2019 by Fujii Hat Co, a hat maker since 1948 in Onomichi, Japan. He recycles the raw material of hat making and reinvents himself by imagining flexible and surprising vases that anyone can make for themselves.

When the company was founded, it began with the production of sun hats made of thin wooden boards, a special product from Onomichi. Currently, the company`s own factories in Onomichi and Ningbo, China, produce hats that have both excellent functions and artistic designs.
Rather than using automated mass production techniques, the hats are handcrafted by skilled artisans.
Many time-honored techniques and materials are no longer used today because fashion trends have radically changed. So, have likely transformed these materials into something new and more valuable by going beyond millinery. With this in mind, they began the development of MOBJE.
